About Us

GPM Manufacturing began in 1983 as a one-man operation based out of a garage in Chicago, IL. Our founder, Ted Godek, built this company from the ground up after the company he was previously working for closed down. What many would consider a setback actually inspired him to purchase his own small lathe, drill press, and bridgeport.

Only one year later, he moved his operation to a 1,000 sq. ft. facility in Elk Grove, IL. From that point forward, our company has experienced steady growth that has led us to further expand our facilities. Currently, we operate out of a 23,000 sq. ft. facility in Lake Zurich, IL and have an arsenal of 19 Mazak brand CNC machines.

From our humble beginnings to now, we have made a commitment to invest in modern equipment and qualified machinists to provide our customers with the highest quality equipment on the market. We continuously replace or add new machinery to keep up with the quality standards of the industries we serve. Our team of machinists is young and motivated by their passion to create products that meet or exceed our customers’ expectations.
